About This Project

For the launch of a new women’s soccer cleat, Adidas wanted a unique influencer gift - detail accurate keychain replicas. The timeline was only 3 weeks but normal production time for the scope and quantity of this project was closer to two months.

To replicate the cleat at scale the project began with a full 3D scan of the actual shoe. The scan was refined in CAD to create a production ready model suitable for high-resolution resin printing. After printing each piece was then individually hand painted, a meticulous process given the tiny proportions with some features measuring only a millimeter. The combination of precision scanning, accurate modeling, and technical finishing ensured the final replicas matched the look and feel of the original cleat despite the accelerated schedule.
